Dorel Juvenile Group, in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,
will announce a recall of the Designer 22 Infant Child Restraint sold with specific travel systems.
The NHTSA website announcement is expected to take place the week of April 18th. Designer 22 Infant
Child Restraint sold separately are not included in this recall.
Upon completion of their evaluation and that of an outside enineering analysis firm, they have
found that harness adjuster slippage on some of Designer 22 Infant Child Restraint can potentially
occur if not readjusted after each use as instructed. Because of this, they are recalling the units
which may exhibit this characteristic.
