Potential Problem
When used as an infant carrier, the carry handle can unexpectedly release, causing the seat to rotate forward. When this happens,
an infant inside the carrier can fall to the ground and suffer serious injuries. The product can continue to be used as a car seat when
secured in a vehicle. Consumers should not use the carry handle until the replacement kit has been installed.
Solution
Consumers who own Embrace car seat/carriers made before April 8, 2006 should call Evenflo's tol-free number for a free repair kit.
Recalled units should not be returned to the retailer.
