Burlington Coat Factory Receives "Company of Compassion" Award

On Thursday, October 25, 2001, Burlington Coat Factory was honored to receive the "Company of Compassion" Award on behalf of the Mercer County HIV Consortium (MCHC.) The award was presented to the company's Director of Human Resources, Chris Pilla at the MCHC's annual MasquerAIDS costume fundraiser.

The event, held at the Masonic Temple in Trenton, NJ, celebrated the efforts and goals of the MCHC and its supporters. The MCHC operates in Mercer County to address the needs of those affected by HIV/AIDS who live, work, or receive services in the county. Some of their services include education, nutritional counseling, and pharmaceutical assistance.

Burlington Coat Factory is immensely proud to be recognized as a company that acts charitably and supports projects and agencies working for the betterment of the community. The company congratulates the MCHC on its ongoing civic and social accomplishments and hopes to be a part of the agency's charitable efforts in the future.
