FORM 10-Q EQUIVALENT

Burlington, NJ - October 17, 2006. Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation (together with its consolidated affiliates and subsidiaries, the "Company") announced today the availability of its quarterly report on Form 10-Q equivalent. The Company's quarterly report on Form 10-Q equivalent for the fiscal period ended September 2, 2006 is being provided to Bank of America N.A., as Administrative Agent of the Lenders under the Company's ABL Credit Agreement dated as of April 13, 2006, Bear Stearns Corporate Lending Inc., as Administrative Agent of the Lenders under the Company's Term Loan Credit Agreement dated as of April 13, 2006, and Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., as Trustee of the Note Holders under two separate indentures, each dated as of April 13, 2006, with respect to the Company's 11¹/8% Senior Notes due 2014 and 14½% Senior Discount Notes due 2014, respectively.

The Company's Lenders and Note Holders may obtain copies of the quarterly report from their respective Administrative Agent or Trustee.

A conference call with management to discuss the Company's results of operations for the fiscal period ended September 2, 2006 will be scheduled shortly.
