POSITION: Administrative Assistant - Linens Department
DESCRIPTION: We are looking for an ambitious, self-starter who is computer literate and works well under pressure. Applicants should be analytical and detail oriented. The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously such as, communication with stores and vendors, filing, faxing, and running reports, is important. He/she must have strong prioritization, organization, and communication skills, a high energy level, and good follow-through. He/she must be highly self-motivated, and flexible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
While working for the Linens division, he/she will perform various administrative tasks, such as:
  • Setting appointments and taking phone messages
  • Composing and preparing correspondence, reports, and other complex documents
  • Handling all general office/clerical duties
  • Creating and maintaining database and spreadsheet files, utilizing Excel and/or Lotus applications
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excel, MS Word for Windows and email skills
  • Good phone manner, communication, organization and personal skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • 1-2 years of merchandising and/or retail experience, a major plus
  • Oracle skills, a plus
POSITION: Facilities Administrative Coordinator
DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the facilities manager and the facilities coordinator, this position is responsible for performing all administrative/clerical functions. The qualified candidate will also assist with dispatching maintenance services to our stores through a network of established vendors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepares required departmental spreadsheets, purchase orders, reports and correspondence
  • Assists the facilities coordinator in dispatching vendors to stores for emergency service and preventative maintenance utilizing a network of pre-screened vendors
  • Organizes and maintains files
  • Answers and screens incoming calls
  • Opens and distributes mail
  • Other projects and clerical functions, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as running reports, data entry, faxing and filing
  • Excellent organizational, communication and follow through skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Oracle purchasing software application knowledge, a plus
POSITION: Administrative Assistant - Construction
DESCRIPTION: While working as an administrative assistant, you will perform various administrative tasks, such as setting appointments and taking telephone messages, composing and preparing correspondence, reports, and other complex documents, and handling all general office/clerical duties. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining database and spreadsheet files, using Excel applications.

QUALIFICATIONS: You will need to be an ambitious, self-starter who works well under pressure. You should be analytical, detail oriented, able to work well with others as a team, and be computer literate. In this position you will need to be able to create and maintain database and spreadsheet files, utilizing Excel applications. The ability to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously such as, communication with stores and vendors, filing, faxing, and running reports, is extremely important. You must have strong prioritization, organization, and communication skills, a high energy level, and good follow-through. You must also be highly self-motivated, and flexible.

To be successful in this position you must be strong in Excel, MS Word, and Internet. A strong knowledge of Oracle is necessary for this position. Previous administrative experience a major plus!
