POSITION: Senior Financial Analyst
DESCRIPTION:
- Primary financial liaison for providing planning and forecasting support
- Perform management reporting and financial analysis
- Build financial models
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build relationships with functional managers to effectively communicate planning process and assist in plan preparation.
- Construct planning modules in Cognos (financial planning system) for users to build plans and forecasts.
- Provide a regular pipeline of concise reports for the purpose of giving accurate updates to management.
- Monitor the progress of actual results versus plan and forecast.
- Report on variances and analyze areas of opportunity and concern.
- Monitor and reforecast plan expenses.
- Build and maintain planning and forecast models.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Accounting or Finance required. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience building financial models and performing financial analyses.
- Experience in strategic planning and budgeting/forecasting processes required.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with senior management presentations and ad-hoc analyses.
- Experience using Cognos financial systems or similar planning software such as Hyperion or Essbase is a plus.
- Prior retail industry experience is a plus.
- Advanced computer literacy in Excel required and knowledge of Access is a plus.
- 3+ yrs. of experience in a planning or analysis position.

POSITION: Tax Clerk
DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare and pay various types of time sensitive tax returns
- Reconcile various accounts related to taxes paid
- Oracle database entry
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excel or Lotus spreadsheet programs
- Oracle application financial database - specifically, invoicing
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Reasonable problem solving skills

POSITION: Tax Associate
DESCRIPTION:Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corporation is searching for a Tax Analyst to join our Tax function in our Accounting
department based in Burlington, NJ.
RESPONSIBILITIES:The essential duties and responsibilities as well as knowledge, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the
following:
- Prepare various transaction type returns including Sales/Use, Personal Property Tax, Gross Receipts and Excise Tax
- Process payments for returns
- Investigate and resolve notices, assessments and information requests for returns
- Support audits by assisting with the preparation of schedules by obtaining information and documentation
- Participate in additional projects as they arise
QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate will possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency
- Contribute individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team
- Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Experience with multi-state sales and use tax return preparation is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting or finance environment

POSITION: Financial Reporting Associate
DESCRIPTION: Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements
in accordance with US GAAP and parent company reporting guidelines.
- Responsible for assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K)
- Analyze and research accounting and financial reporting issues and their impact on the company
- Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404
- Working with external auditors as related to matters pertaining to external financial reporting.
- This person would be responsible for the analytical review of financial statement.
- Perform other special accounting, reporting or analysis projects as requested
QUALIFICATIONS:Qualifications include 2+ years of financial reporting and consolidations,
a degree in Accounting, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Lotus and experience with
Oracle Financials is a plus.
